At this JMC exclusive Masterclass Panel, we have three successful podcasters and producers joining us to share exclusive tips and knowledge around developing podcast concepts, the technical aspects of producing a podcast. Promoting your podcast, building a listenership and differentiating your podcast from the market. Lastly the panel will cover how to gain the attention of leading organisations in the industry like SBS, Triple J, and Spotify and monetising your podcast. 

About the Host: 

Petra Williams 

Petra's portfolio career spans five countries and includes working as a presenter in radio, TV and web-based programs. She has also hosted and produced her own online talk show and podcast where she interviewed celebrities, sports stars, porn stars, spiritual teachers, entrepreneurs and industry leaders.

As the Marketing and Events Executive of Westpac Stadium in New Zealand along with her own events company, Petra’s experienced in managing international sporting, branding and entertainment events and festivals.

About the Panelists: 

Amelia Navascues 

Amelia is an audio producer, writer and stand-up comedian. She has presented and produced live radio segments for triple j, has been the host and Executive Producer of 2ser 107.3’s weekly arts and culture CARVE, produced podcasts for Spotify Studios, Mamamia and Audiocraft and is a regular on the Sydney stand up comedy circuit.

Andrew Menczel

Andrew is the founder of Piccolo Podcasts, Podcast host: ‘Cricket Unfiltered’, ‘Podcast Host Revealed’ and Cricket Daily.  Broadcaster, cricket commentator and award-nominated producer.

Rachel Sibley 

Rachel is the Podcast Lead at SBS that produces over 60 podcasts in different languages. Supporting the teams in best podcast practice, project management and planning; content support and ideas; data analysis and much more.
