Abigail Dixon

Credits prior to commencing her studies include Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray, Ms Fleming in Heathers, Fiona in The Removalists and Susan in Ruben Guthrie.

 

In 2023, Abigail appeared in Christ Almighty: A Comedy of Biblical Proportions at the Seymour Centre, Sydney. Abigail has also toured with Meerkat Productions in two productions for CBCA Book Week– Stellarphant and The Detective’s Guide for Ocean Travel. You can hear Abigail’s trademark mezzo-soprano on the soundtrack of the new musical Salem’s Revenge by Jake Nielsen and Matthew Predny, available on Spotify and Apple Music.

 

Hailing from Manchester, UK, Abigail is a graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University (Bachelor of Musical Theatre.)  Whilst studying, she had the privilege of portraying Rizzo in Grease (Dir. Alister Smith), both at the Conservatorium Theatre and in its revival at QPAC. She also played Rosie Cover/ Ensemble in The Show Co’s production of Mamma Mia! (Dir. Tanya Mitford) and Paulette in Legally Blonde the Musical (Dir. Penny Farrow).



Abigail is currently playing the role of Molly Brown in Titanique for Michael Cassel Group. She is currently based in Sydney. 


Annelise Hall

Annelise is a performer and singing teacher based on Sydney's northern beaches. Annelise has most recently played Sandy in the National Tour of Grease with Xroads Live.

Prior to this, Annelise played the role of 'Isobel Mcdonald' in feature film, 'Moonrise over Knight's Hill' with Badlands and 'Hope' in the national tour of 'The Marvellous Elephant Man' with Floating World Productions.

Annelise graduated with a Bachelor of Musical Theatre from Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University where she also played the role of Sandy at QPAC and and received a Diploma of Musical Theatre from Brent St. Annelise's corporate gigs include Carols by Candlelight and The Lord Mayor's Christmas Carols, as well as appearances on The Today Show, The Morning Show and Studio 10. 

 

Margi De Ferranti

Margi De Ferranti has enjoyed a flourishing career in the entertainment industry since 1986. She has appeared in Les Miserables (1987 and 1996), Aspects of Love (as Guilietta), The Buddy Holly Story (as Maria Elena Holly),Grease! (as Rizzo), Sunday in the Park with George (as Dot), Fame The Musical (as Miss Bell, Mo award Nomination) and Mamma Mia (National Tour as Donna) in 2003 /4.

She was the Inaugural Winner of the Sydney Cabaret Convention in 1997 and has created many shows. For film and television, Margi has appeared alongside Glen Close and Harry Connick Jnr in South Pacific (2001), and as a guest on All Saints and White Collar Blue (2002).

Margi now focuses her time teaching up and coming stars and industry professionals at major performing arts schools such as The Actor’s Centre (ACA), MacDonald College, Brent St and The Conservatorium of Music (B.A. Music Theatre). Having become one of Sydney’s premier singing teacher for budding Musical Theatre stars., Margi inspires young singers to nail a song by passing on her knowledge of song choice, audition and singing technique. You would have seen her young students in ‘Shrek the Musical’, ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’, ‘Caroline or Change’, ‘School of Rock’ and ‘Mary Poppins’, to name a few. 

Choosing to never stay out of reach with her craft, Margi still performs. Recent credits include Carrie the Musical’ playing Margaret White, Dr Charlotte in‘ Falsettos’ at the Eternity Playhouse and ‘Ruthless’ for which she was nominated for best supporting actress at The Sydney Theatre Critics Awards (2015). In2018, Margi made her Hayes Theatre debut as Abuela Claudia in the highly anticipated “In The Heights”, which re-emerged for a week at The Sydney Opera House Concert Hall in January 2019.For her work in this sold out show, Margi received the 2019 Glugs award for Most Outstanding supporting actress in a musical. In October 2019 Margi returned to the Cabaret stage after 10 years with her show‘ Mum loves Dionne’ at Claire’s Kitchen, for which she received the 2020 Glugs Award for most outstanding Cabaret.
