The biggest celebration of gaming and gaming culture down under, PAX Aus, is back and JMC is excited to announce that one lucky game developed by a JMC student/s will have the opportunity to showcase their creation at PAX Rising. Talk about leveling up when it comes to our student competitions! 

Specifically created to provide a platform for the best of the indie development scene locally and internationally, PAX Rising highlights a selection of exciting independent games and the deserving winners of the prestigious PAX Aus Indie Showcase. Typically, only established and registered companies are allowed to exhibit their games in the showcase. It’s the most coveted platform available in the country - which is what makes this opportunity so special!  

Included in our PAX Rising comp prize is one full PAX Rising Premium Indie POD (exhibition booth) exclusively to showcase your game, furniture, Internet, audio-visual equipment, PCs, Marketing and Operations of the POD, JMC Staff support at the show, and entry to PAX Aus across the show days. It's a fully supported, one way ticket to the centre stage of the gaming world where you can choose to launch a game you’ve been working on or showcase a game you’ve released independently.  

Entries are open to individual JMC students or alumni, or teams where at least 50% of members are JMC students or alumni. To enter, submit an MVP detailing the core of your game and have a full Alpha build ready for PAX Aus in October!
