Once again, JMC is over the moon (into outer space) proud to be launching an artist or band to the Laneway Festival stage in 2024! Following the success of last year with our talented Melbourne alumni Ruby Cannon, we knew we had to commit to this crazy but rewarding ride all over again. As of today, entries are now open to ALL JMC artists and bands who dream of gracing the Laneway Sydney stage.
For the JMC team, this opportunity allows us to back ourselves as Australia’s leading creative institution by putting world class talent (our students) onto one of Australia’s leading festival stages. We’re so proud of every individual who pursues a creative career with us and we’re dedicated to finding them the best possible opportunities!

This year, the Laneway lineup is already choc-full of some of music’s brightest stars such as Stormzy, Steve Lacey, Dominic Fike, AJ Tracey, Angie McMahon, Confidence Man and many more. To join this constellation of artists would be nothing short of… stellar.
