When we first met the team at Muso, we noticed that we had one major thing in common; we want to give the opportunity to as many artists as we can to perform as much live music in Australia as possible.
We are firm believers that the best way to master your craft is to be practising and performing as much as you can, however, the problem that always faces our emerging artists is ‘where do I go to find gigs?'. That’s why the amazing team over at Muso have created a brand new, online platform that lets you showcase your work and book gigs that are happening near you!
Muso is committed to connecting musicians to anyone looking to book live music.
They cater for gigs as simple as corner cafes all the way up to some of Australia’s best live music venues. Their streamline booking process focuses on all aspects of performing from discovery to payment and can be used by both established and up and coming artists. Muso is increasing accessibility to live music for venues, which in turn increases the opportunity to gig for artists. Muso wants more live music in as many venues as possible, which is a mission we can get behind!
Want to study Music Performance at JMC?
As part of our partnership with Muso, our students will have exclusive access to on-campus presentations and one-on-one consultations with the Muso team throughout their course at JMC. This will help them to build the most effective Muso profiles to showcase their work and land as many gigs as possible. We are also working closely with the Muso team on some other special opportunities for our students across many different courses.
