Now this is something that’s right up our alley, or should we say Laneway.

In news that will see us positively beaming into the new year, JMC is proud to announce that we are an Official Partner for St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival 2023! 

The six-city Trans-Tasman event will be returning for the first time since 2020 and is looking set to be better than ever before! Four flash new venues have been added to the 2023 schedule, including The Park in Melbourne, Bonython Park in Adelaide, Wellington Square in Perth and the iconic Sydney Showground. 

Laneway, as punters so lovingly call it, has a reputation for delivering some of the world’s best acts to Aussie festival stages and 2023 will be no exception. Next February’s stacked lineup includes international acts like Phoebe Bridgers, JOJI, FINNEAS, Fontaines D.C., Fred again.., Mallrat, Girl in Red and HAIM. We have a feeling we’re about to be extremely starstruck but trying to play it cool for now ‘cause that’s showbiz, baby!

For us, this partnership means far more than a few extra festival tickets for our mates. As you might have gleaned from the sheer magnificence of the stars stacked up for 2023, this opportunity will plant some lucky JMC students smack bang amongst the cream of the industry crop. We can’t wait to help bring Laneway to life across the country and allow our students to play their part (literally? 👀) on the ground floor.
