JMC Academy is proud to announce our partnership with Small Town Big Sound - a concert tour travelling through regional Victoria!
After a year of lockdowns and isolation, Small Town Big Sound is bringing music back to the regions of Victoria – and the lineup is as diverse as the towns we are visiting! 9 bands, 6 weekends, 6 Regions – The shows are no-frills and inspired by the pub rock scene in the late 70s when bands played anywhere and everywhere.
JMC will be delivering workshops in regional Victorian high schools on music production, song composition and music business, much like a taste tester into our Music Production, Audio Engineering and Entertainment Business Management courses.
Hear from a JMC Representative who will be involved in a panel discussion about music alongside the artists on tour and selected JMC students will be supporting the tour as volunteers in production and stage management roles!
When is it?
The tour kicks off on Friday 16th April every Friday + Saturday until Saturday 22nd May, so mark your calendars!
