Combining technical principles with pure creative expression, this hands-on course will help you begin to find your style as a creative composer, sharpen your production skills and create compositions that use inventive sounds and concepts. You will receive - at the core of your music production studies - weekly one-on-one private mentoring sessions to work on your production skills, songwriting, and work on developing a folio of original material and production work.
Touching on composition, arranging techniques, industry studies, music analysis, recording techniques and production skills – the Diploma incorporates the use of industry-standard software such as Pro Tools, Logix and Sibelius to create original music. Whether you’re a relative beginner or an experienced producer and you know your way around your DAW of choice, learn how to brainstorm ideas, enhance your understanding of music theory, overcome writer’s block, and express yourself more effectively in sound, words and music.
